Not only images's
digitalization but also:
- documents's
digitalization from from textes and not separable single document;
- indexing of images's content for
targeted research associating images with specific
tags;
- writing pages

interfaces for a quick
research and easy to consult;

database) of 46 documents for a total of 7000 pages of 11 Gigabyte space disk .
Availability to digitize documents on commission.
Following there are three fases in which process of
digitalization of the document takes place:
Phase 1:
Digitazion is achieved thanks to the use of the
Scanner ScanSnapSV600, device equipped with image flattening technology that they could be deformed by the curvature of the book and also a function to erase the fingers or foreign bodies present on the sheets. It allows to store images in format
PDF and
JPEG .
The document or the book are placed above the plate background and held still with balanced weights
Phase 2:
The text is scanned for pairs of two pages at time if a book, one page at time if it is a single document.
We cannot scan more than 100 items at a time: when we arrived to the aforementioned amount, we move on the revision and correction of these
pages before continuing with the remaining ones. The scanned pages are straightened by of technology that the scanner is equipped with
and foreign bodies on the sheet at the time of scanning are deleted like a finger or part of the medium used to hold the book down
Phase 3:
Scanned images are saved and organized following not the number on the page but the page in its physicality.
